It is Important to Check Your Tyres Regularly
It is important to check the tread depth of your tyres regularly to ensure they stay within legal limits. Your tyre should always have a minimum of 1.6mm tread depth around three-quarters of the the width of the tyre, around the entire circumference of said tyre.
By checking the tread depth of your tyre regularly you can also see if your tyres are wearing unevenly. If one side or the other of your tyre is wearing noticeably quicker than the other corresponding tyre, it could mean that your wheels have been knocked out of alignment.
